What is tragedy, someone might ask. To me tragedy is when something bad happens. Tragedy is when someone dies or anything that makes you cry. Everyone has different perspectives one tragedy my perspective just happens to be that tragedy is a bad thing that you don't want to happen to you nor anyone else. In my head if something tragic happens to me i'm going to cry because its something that I don't ever want to happen. I think the most tragic thing that can happen is someone or something dying. I do have some questions about tragedy. One question that I have is what does the word "tragedy" mean to everyone else? I know what tragedy means to me but I don't know what it means to everyone else, it would be nice to know what everyone else thinks about the word "tragedy." Another question I happen to have is , is there other kinds of tragedy? Does tragedy have different meanings?
Tragedy really means human suffering. Tragedy describes different phenomena every time. Tragedy of commons is another tragedy and it means and economic theory that is a shared- resource system where people act independently to their own self-interest. Another type of tragedy is revenge tragedy. Revenge tragedy is when the protagonist of a story is seeking the revenge of an imagined or actual injury.
There are many different types of tragedies and some people may or may not have their own form of tragedy. I know that when I read what tragedy and the different forms of tragedy were I didn't expect them to mean what they meant. I thought tragedy just meant when something bad happens in your life. I didn't realize that there was so many different types of tragedy. Tragedy is something that I thought no one would ever want to happen in there life but it seems like tragedy happens more than what we think if we know all the different types of tragedy.
