Miller's argument is how terror and the fear that is classically associated with tragedy. So what it's saying is that tragedy is fear or terror and tragedy is not a good thing at all, no one wants any kind of tragedy in their life. As I read through this article I came to the conclusion that this article is about tragedy. In line 29 it says Tragedy, then, is the consequence of a man's total compulsion to evaluate himself justly." When I read this part of the article I thought it was saying that it could be fair what he chooses. This article doesn't change my understanding of tragedy because I personally think that tragedy is something bad that happens to someone, and when I read the article it confirmed that tragedy is something bad that happens to someone. Tragedy to me is like someone dying or someone getting bad news or even someone doing something that is horrible such as kill someone, kill themselves or even just do something that they will regret. This article really just talks about how tragedy is bad, seems how tragedy is so bad who would ever want that to happen to them? No one deserves any kind of tragedy in their life but that is part pf life, tragedy happens in everyone's life whether it's big or small. www.etymonline.com/word/tragedy
