This week in AP lit I learned about visual metaphors. A visual metaphor is a picture that represents something that you have read and that will remind you what you read. It is a representation of a person, place thing or an idea. When you make the picture of a person, place thing or idea it has to be something that represents what you are making the picture about, if the picture has nothing to do with what you want it to be then when you look back on the picture you won't remember what it is about. A visual metaphor can help a lot of people out and it can help a lot. When I did this project I didn't think it was gonna work but now that I did it when I look at the visual metaphor that my group and I did I can understand exactly what it represents and it makes a lot of sense to me it it actually helps me out a ton. A visual metaphor can be any kind of picture that you want as long as it makes sense to you and when you look at the picture you will remember what the picture is about. Visual metaphors is something easy to do to remind you and represent a person, place thing or idea that you have seen and read. There is no wrong metaphor. Everyone has their own ideas about how to make a visual metaphor and someone else's metaphor may not make sense to you but it will make sense to the person who made it. www.thoughtco.com/visual-metaphor-1692595
