This week I have learned how to revise something that I have wrote. For example for the last few weeks we have been writing something called a creative writing and what it is is just writing about anything pretty much, but we do get a prompt if we don't know what to write about. I have been writing on one of the prompts that we had given to us that had something to do with a man in black. We had to decide what one one the creative writings we wanted to write about and I decided to write about the prompt of the man in black. This week the teacher decided to have us revise out own writing. I didn't get very far in revising my own writing but the little bit that I did do helped me figure out how to revise my own writing. When you revise someone else writing it is much easier to revise because you haven't ever read it before and and can find the mistakes much easier. When I was revising mine I had to re-read it multiple times to find mistakes and try to figure out how I can fix them by myself. So what I am trying to say is that I learned that in order to revise your own writing you have to read carefully because it may or may not take you a while to find the mistakes and figure out how to fix them. www.cgpbooks.co.uk/interactive_tips_exam
