This week we did a lot of editing and revising our creative writing that we wanted to write about this week. I had a lot of revising to do, anything from punctuation to re-writing whole sentences. When I revise something I usually have to read over it multiple times to finally figure out how I am going to fix it. When I was revising my creative writing I went through each paragraph and read it about three times because I couldn't pick up what was wrong with what I wrote but after reading it three times I would find something I had to fix and sometimes it was something as small as I spelt something wrong or forgot a period, and sometimes it was something major like one of my sentences made no sense at all. As I went through my creative writing a few time I never actually was able to finish revising it completely because it took me so long to actually read through it. I tried to read my creative slowly when I was going through it, I didn't read it to slow to the point where it made no sense but I read it slowly enough I only had to go through each paragraph about three times to find mistakes I had made. I have learned that revising your own work is actually difficult because sometimes you know that your writing is bad and you don't want to go back and read through it so when you finally do go back and read through it you think that everything is shit and sometimes it can just be that you can't really find anything in wrong in your writing because you think it is good and other times its just hard to fix mistakes. esl.fis.edu/learners/advice/wp-revis.htm
